Congratulations to Michael Robertson, a graduate student in the Jorgensen lab, who collaborated with us to determine the structure of two novel inhibitors of human macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), a proinflammatory cytokine associated with numerous inflammatory diseases and cancer. The structures, recently published in JACS, provided a basis for further modeling to yield improved inhibitors. Check out our other recent papers on the Publications page!
